Drills Setup

Six-2 minute rounds total. 

    • 3 Rounds of shield, mitt and/or bag work for each student
    • 1-minute left side. 1-minute right side per partner.
  • No rest. Just switch sides.

Options

  • Beginners can alternate–Student 1 does a round. Student 2 does a round.
  • More advanced student 1 does all three 2-minute rounds consecutively.

Every Combination Has:

  • Penetrate-engage-clear-change position
  • Students must ALWAYS step in to close the gap, unless it’s a defensive drill.
