Information Call: Get the Decision Makers
If Dad wasn’t present at either intro and has never even seen the school, you’re dead. Mom can be as impressed as possible with your teaching and the values you instill, but to Dad, it’s $149 a month and he isn’t going to pay it. All of that could have been avoided if you simply made it mandatory for both parents to come in for the introductory classes. If Dad had been present, he would be just as impressed as Mom and ready to go ahead.
In the case of a husband or wife taking the class, the same rule applies. First ask; “Will anyone else be involved in the decision for you to join our school?” If the answer is no, we still try to get the spouse in. If the answer is; “Yes, I’ll have to confer with my wife,” then we will not teach the lesson unless she is present.[/text_block]
