CLASS 1

Choose Your Friends Wisely

Here’s how you know if someone’s your friend. You can tell them bad news and they’ll listen rather than tell you why that bad thing happened to you and how something worse happened to them once and derail the whole conversation.

They make it all about them not you or your good news.

You can actually tell a good friend bad news and they’ll listen. Not only that, but you can tell them good news and they’ll help you improve on it. That’s a friend.

So, Choose Your Friends Wisely.

Got it? Good! Let’s get to work!

CLASS 2

CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS WISELY

Last class, we talked about how people around you react when you tell them something good or bad has happened to you.

If it’s a good thing, they are happy for you. If it’s a bad thing, they listen and try to help rather than point out everything you did wrong.

Surround yourself with people who want the best for you.

Often we end up with friends who either have bad habits or help us continue our own. That’s called enabling.

If you put up with that behavior, you’re consenting to it. Maybe you’re the enabler? Not good.

You have both the right and the responsibility to surround yourself with people who are good for you

Got it? Good! Let’s get to work!
